Volcanic Ore is applicable to a range of organic growing programs. Granular in its natural form, VO retains moisture like none other!

 

Volcanic Ore is mined from mineral ore sediments located four degrees above the equator, in Indonesia. Volcanic Ore is bountiful in iron, and contains naturally occurring minerals and acids which plants need to thrive. It is an ancient humus concentrate… but it’s not coal!

 

All Organic Start products are run through phytosanitary checks and an organic vector elimination process prior to export, which guarantees their safety and efficacy. Nutrient-rich Volcanic Ore is run through five screens, equivalent to 200-mesh filters, and then superheated to guarantee product cleanliness, consistency and bioavailability.

 

Volcanic Ore is the perfect addition to compost teas, top/side dress, and in bonsai mixed. It is a NOP Certified Organic product in the United States that can be used in gardens, containers and raised beds, for vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, vines, trees and shrubs. VO is safe to use with all plants.

Directions for Use

  • On the garden and landscape:

    13kg per 100 square metres.

    0.25kg (3 handfuls) per 1 square metre.

    Gently dig into soil surface once per month or as desired.

  • Compost Tea:

    5mL (1 teaspoon) per 1L into a mesh bag, never loose in solution.

  • Top Dressing:

    5mL (1 teaspoon) per 1L of soil or growing medium.

    Gently dig into soil surface once a month or as desired.

     

  • Premixing or amending soil for potted plants and planter boxes: 

    5mL (1 teaspoon) per 1L of soil or growing medium.

    Gently dig into soil surface once a month or as desired.

  • Warning!

    Avoid inhaling dust. Use in well-ventilated area. Wear a dust mask that fits.
