Seabird Guano is a product with quite the compelling history. In the early 19th century, western culture first became aware of the beneficial properties of Seabird Guano – and the whole world suddenly went wild for it. Seabird Guano changed agriculture forever… and as one of the first organic fertiliser products to be widely distributed throughout the globe, Seabird Guano is now widely recognised as a premium organic biostimulant.

 

Our Seabird Guano is a seasonal product, sourced from remote islands in Indonesia. Fossilised Seabird Guano contains high levels of phosphate, and exceptional amounts of calcium. It is the ultimate formulation for explosive fruiting and flowering.

 

All Organic Start products are run through phytosanitary checks and an organic vector elimination process prior to export, which guarantees their safety and efficacy. Nutrient-rich Seabird Guano is run through five screens, equivalent to 200-mesh filters, and then superheated to guarantee product cleanliness, consistency and bioavailability.

 

Seabird Guano is the perfect addition to compost teas, top/side dress, and in bonsai mixed. It is a NOP Certified Organic product in the United States that can be used in gardens, containers and raised beds, for vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, vines, trees and shrubs. Seabird Guano  is safe to use with all plants.

Directions for Use

  • On the farm, garden and landscape:

    Up to 14kg per 100 square metres.

    Gently dig into soil surface once per month or as desired.

  • Transplanting and premixing soil for potted plants and planter boxes:

    1.4kgs per 10 square metres.

    or

    0.14kgs (1 big handful) per 1 square metre.

    Gently dig into soil surface once per month or as desired.

  • Top dressing:

    15mL per 10L of soil or growing medium.

    Gently dig into soil surface once a month or as desired.

  • For tea mix:

    5mL (1 teaspoon) per 1L into a mesh bag, never loose in solution.
